Welcome to the other side of the rainbow. Are you a good witch or a bad witch? I'm not a witch at all, but I do enjoy working magic with words.

Tuesday Tune: Sounds of Silence
I didn't really know much about Simon and Garfunkle until I'd seen The Graduate. After listening to their tunes on the soundtrack I was a fan for life. This song is one of my favorites.
Such a wonderful song. Simon and Garfunkle are terrific because there's more to their music than most pop - yet they're not so heavy that the music is hard to enjoy. Good stuff - well posted, pal!
Craig: I agree. Paul Simon is one of my favorite singer songwriters. When the duo broke up, I still enjoyed Simon's music...he's one of the most versatile songwriters. I like that he tries new things in music. Brilliant lyricist as well.
One of my favorite songs is Garfunkel's adaptation of Antonio Carlos Jobim's 'Aguas de Marco.'

Didn't vet the images, but I link it for the song. Enjoy! :)

ReplyDeleteHi,Suze: I will check out the Garfunkle link. I love his voice and I love the way S & G harmonize.
