Lemon Bars and Albert Brooks

I was in the baking mood this weekend and made the best lemon bars in the Universe! The whole family loved them and daughter Jen said they were the best she ever ate!

Coming attractions:

Chocolate espresso cupcakes with peanut butter cream cheese frosting and mini-Reeses peanut butter cup garnish.

On another note, Albert Brooks' new novel just came out: 2030: The Real Story of What Happens to America. It's next on my reading list.

I'm a huge fan of Brooks and follow him on Twitter. His tweets are a hoot!

  1. Mmmmmmm...lemon bars...wish I could try one! And thanks for the tip on Albert Brooks - a very funny man! Will have to check that book out! (Possibly from the library!) I have no Albert Brooks stories, sadly. I did mention him as 10% of a blog post once, though - and I'm shameless enough to post a link here...anyone's welcome to check it out! Thanks for the post, Luana!

  3. Hi, Craig: Albert Brooks is hilarious. I loved him in The Muse and Modern Romance. He seems like he would be a fun guy to hang out with. He has a natural sense of humor; doesn't even try to be funny. He just is. I know people like that who always make you laugh but don't parade themselves around as "Mr. Funny."

Jim Carey has an intense funniness...and he's probably much more serious in real life. Same with Robin Williams. But I'm just assuming. I don't know these people.
