I first became aware of this song when it was used to open Halloween II in 1981. The use of this otherwise horror-less song in a horror movie kind of haunted me - so much so that eleven years later I ended up writing an entire horror movie script called Mr. Sandman that also featured the song! So, to me, this song always takes me in a different direction than most who listen to it...
Craig: I know what you mean. I remember that scene in Halloween. It was such a bizarre song for a horror flick! But very cool. I would love to read your horror script. When I saw Spiderman vs Sandman battle, the song kept running through my head.
I do like beefcake :-)
