Get Healthy!



My blogger friend Denise has started a fitness blog and it's just what I need for motivation.

I've been on a fitness push since January when I seriously started cutting calories and changing my eating habits. I've lost 15 pounds and am continuing toward my goal. I've started running again this spring and I'm training for my first 5K in decades.

Juicer Update: My Huron jucier is amazing! My first juice was a carrot/apple juice. The next day I tried a carrot/apple/beet juice. I also juiced some oranges for some delicious fresh orange juice. Still haven't tried the green juice but I have all the ingredients (kale, spinach, cucumber).

I love making fruit juices but, despite having several 'recipes' for vegetable juices, I've still never tried it. That will be my challenge for today I think.

Congratulations on losing 15lbs. That's fantastic! Good luck with the training for next month.
