Who's your favorite character?
I like Mary Ann. She was so cute in her shorts and midriff tops and she looked like me. I always thought she and the professor should be a couple, but upon reflection, I think he was too old for her. They had nothing in common except for their special interests in coconuts...she could make a cream pie and he could build a radio.

The professor was always my favorite.
I was a Professor fan too. I also know the Skipper's and the Professor's real names, mentioned maybe only once on the show - Captain Jonas Grumby, and Professor Roy Hinkle. The Professor was known for writing the book "Rust - The Real Red Menace." What a great show! Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Luana!

Craig: Wow! I totally forgot about the names. Interesting that Skipper was Jonas (from the Bible..Jonah and the Whale).
