They are the perfect parents -  even better than Mike and Carol Brady. They rule the roost with love, discipline and humor. Who wouldn't want Bill Cosby as their father? Bedtime story = Chicken Heart.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL: Vanessa is the quintessential "middle" child and had to find her own way to distinguish herself from her siblings. Thus she excelled in school and became a star student..A brainiac, she graduated from high school early and went to college before her peers. Why do spies wear a trench coats?

Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed
A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed

And up through the ground came a bubblin' crude.
Oil, that is. Black gold. Texas tea.

Well, the first thing you know ol' Jed's a millionaire

G is for Ginger Grant

Welcome to the A to Z Blogging Challenge where I will post on a word
featuring a different letter of the alphabet each day of the month of April.
My theme for this challenge is Female TV Characters.

Ginger Grant- "Gilligan's Island"

THE STORY:

Just sit right back and you'll hear at a tale
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port
Aboard this tiny ship

The mate was a mighty sailing man
The skipper brave and sure
Five passengers set sail that day
For a three hour tour

The weather started getting rough
The tiny ship was tossed
If not for the courage of the fearless crew
The "Minnow" would be lost

The ship set ground on a shore of this uncharted desert isle with
Gilligan
the Skipper, too
the millionaire and his wife
the movie star
the professor
and Mary Ann
Here on Gilligan's isle

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL: Is it typical for a person to pack several bags of luggage for a three hour tour? I suppose movie stars have a different set of priorities. I have no idea how Ginger managed her high-maintenance style with nothing on the island but coconut oil and bananas. Nevertheless, she always managed to look like a million bucks.

How do you think Ginger would do as a contestant on Survivor?

Any "cat" people out there?
